Engineering Services
Supervision & Technical Project Management
Technical support during fabrication and erection, quality control per AWS D1.1 and European standards. Comprehensive management from conceptualization to commissioning.
Shop Fabrication Follow-Up
We provide technical follow-up during shop fabrication, verifying that execution meets the design intent and required quality standards. Our follow-up covers everything from material receipt to finished piece dispatch, through all critical fabrication stages: cutting, edge preparation, fit-up, welding, surface treatment, and testing. This service is essential for detecting deviations early and avoiding costly rework.
- Welding procedure review (WPS/PQR) and welder qualification
- Dimensional control and tolerance verification per EN 1090 / AISC Code of Standard Practice
- Welded joint inspection: visual, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic
- Bolted connection inspection: torque, pretensioning, marking
- Surface preparation and corrosion protection system verification
- Non-conformance management, corrective actions, and documentary records
Technical Management and Project Coordination
We coordinate the technical aspects of the project from design phase through final execution, ensuring technical consistency across all disciplines and schedule compliance. Technical management includes technical decision-making, interference resolution, design change management during execution, and complete project documentation.
- Coordination between design engineering, fabrication, and erection
- Technical review of fabricator and subcontractor bids
- Design change management during execution phase (change management)
- Field interference and technical problem resolution
- Periodic progress reports with milestone and deliverable tracking
- Closeout documentation: as-built, quality certificates, project dossier
Quality Control and Applicable Standards
We apply the most demanding quality control standards in the industry, adapted to the project's regulatory framework. Our knowledge of both American and European standards allows us to define inspection and test plans (ITP) appropriate for each structure type and execution class.
- AWS D1.1 / D1.8: Structural Welding Code — American market
- EN 1090-2: Execution of steel structures — European market (classes EXC1 to EXC4)
- ISO 3834: Quality requirements for fusion welding
- Customized inspection and test plans (ITP) per project
- Documentary management of material, welding, and testing certificates
